Duran Golf Club
About Us
Duran Golf Club stands on land steeped in heritage and purpose. Long before the first tee time, this property was part of a working cattle ranch and sod farm owned by A. Duda & Sons, a family-run operation whose agricultural legacy in Florida spans five generations. Known locally as Duda Ranch, the land was shaped by hard work, stewardship, and faith—values that guided daily life and forged a deep connection between family and soil.
That spirit remains woven into the fabric of Duran today. What was once wide-open pastureland has been thoughtfully transformed into one of the Space Coast’s most celebrated golf experiences—without losing the character that made the land special. Each fairway and green reflects a respect for the past, honoring the pioneering roots that helped define Florida long before it became what it is today.
At Duran, the essence of Old Florida endures. You’ll find it in the rustic beauty of the course, the warm hospitality of our team, and the enduring relationship between land, legacy, and community. Open skies, honest craftsmanship, and family values continue to shape the experience here—creating a place that feels both timeless and welcoming.
Duran Golf Club isn’t simply built on history; it is history—preserved and reimagined for a new generation of golfers who appreciate authenticity, quality, and the quiet strength of Florida’s frontier past. We invite you to experience a course where tradition meets transformation, and where every round tells a story.
Thoughtfully designed to complement its natural surroundings, Duran Golf Club reflects a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible land management. The layout embraces Florida’s native beauty, blending rolling fairways, preserved wetlands, strategic water features, and open vistas that echo the property’s ranching roots. Rather than imposing on the landscape, the course works in harmony with it—protecting natural habitats, conserving water resources, and supporting the delicate ecosystems that make the Space Coast unique.
Sustainable turf practices, mindful irrigation, and preservation of native vegetation help ensure that the land remains healthy for generations to come. Wildlife corridors and natural buffer zones are intentionally maintained, allowing the course to coexist respectfully with the environment that surrounds it. This philosophy of stewardship is not a trend—it is a continuation of the agricultural principles that first shaped the land under the care of the Duda family.
Beyond the course itself, Duran is a gathering place where community thrives. From early morning tee times to post-round conversations, the club fosters a sense of belonging rooted in genuine hospitality. Guests are welcomed not just as players, but as part of an ongoing story—one shaped by tradition, mutual respect, and a shared appreciation for the game and the land it’s played on.
Duran Golf Club also represents a bridge between generations. While honoring the values and work ethic that defined its past, the club continues to evolve to meet the expectations of today’s golfers. Modern amenities, attentive service, and a forward-thinking approach ensure that the experience remains relevant—without ever losing the character that makes it distinctive.
At its core, Duran is more than a destination—it’s a reflection of Florida’s enduring spirit. A place where history is not forgotten, but carried forward with intention. Whether you come for the challenge of the course, the beauty of the setting, or the sense of tradition underfoot, Duran Golf Club offers an experience that is both grounded and timeless—where the land is honored, protected, and celebrated every day.
